From the very first email Lara and Reza sent, I knew I wanted to be part of their wedding. The location of the wedding was the landmark Roosevelt Hotel in the heart of Hollywood. Using their venue as inspiration, they wanted a luxe all white wedding with accents of crystals, gold lace and rustic wood pieces. Their style was romantic with a hint of old Hollywood glamour, mixed with some rustic touches. We used balsa wood flowers, white lisianthis, hydrangea, ivory roses and bloomed baby roses.
Lara carried a bridal bouquet created with vendela roses, white lisianthis, small and large balsa wood flowers. The bridesmaids carried simple yet chic bouquets of ivory roses and mini balsa wood flowers.
The ceremony was held in the historic lobby of the hotel. GORGEOUS. The architecture of the hotel is insane - mixed in with the dark wood furniture, rustic sconces, sexy lighting and the fountain made for a breathtaking ceremony site.
We custom built and hand stained two wooden columns to hold the brown manzanita trees. The trees were placed in two rustic wooden boxes wrapped in gold lace. The branches were adorned with balsa wood blooms and hanging crystals, the base was a bed of lush white hydrangea. The fountain was encircled by lush ivory rose petals and clusters of floating candles. The added decor that we brought in helped create a softer and romantic ambiance...
For the centerpieces, we went with a cleaner and more modern design. Lush white floral pave arrangements of ivory roses and hydrangea were set on tall cylinders wrapped in custom cut gold lace. Strands of crystals hung from each centerpiece to add a bit more glitz to the table. The base of the centerpieces were surrounded by gold lace wrapped cylinders with floating candles, and more roses petals... The whole look was luxe and romantic.
Thank you so much Lara and Reza for letting me be a small part of your wedding day. I loved every minute of the design process, it was truly a pleasure working with you...xoxo
