Contemporary Red Rose Wedding {Marriott Hotel in Marina Del Ray}

Happy New Year!!! We have been MIA (yet again, sorry!) This year has just flown by and December in particular, went by even faster...2009 was a bittersweet year for many people, including us. We are so grateful for the wonderful clients and beautiful weddings we were fortunate enough to be a part of. May 2010 be a bright, new beginning for everyone filled with health, laughter and love.
We have so many 2009 weddings we can't wait to share with you. Here are photos from Marin & Barry Rieger's wedding at the Marriot Hotel in Marina Del Rey. Marin wanted a classic and elegant wedding with a rich red and gold color palette.

The Rabbi and Marin's parents are present as she signs the Ketubah.

Marin wanted the chuppah design to be clean and elegant. Red rose pomanders were attached to the front of the chuppah, accented with hanging crystals. The base featured large red rose floral arrangements that were later moved inside for the reception.

Moments before the wind blew their vows right out of the Rabbi's hands...
making their ceremony even more memorable.

A daytime shot of the centerpieces. The tables were adorned with two centerpiece styles. Tall clear cylinders featured red roses submerged in water, clear acrylic crystals with LED lights and finished with floating candles. The base of the cylinders were surrounded by fresh red rose petals and smaller cylinders with floating candles.
I loved Marin's favors - ivory gift boxes filled with their favorite See's chocolates, tied with a gold ribbon, accented with rhinestones and their picture - so elegant and chic.
Eat, Drink and Be Married...
The place card table featured cylinders ranging in height, filled with red roses, candles and fresh red rose petals for a truly romantic and lush table scape.

Marin had a fabulous idea for her place cards, the number of rhinestones helped determine what each guest had requested for their dinner entree.
