A Classy Under the Sea Bat Mitzvah - Langham Hotel in Pasadena

The gorgeous Langham Hotel ballroom... the room looked magical with the aqua colored lighting.

The centerpieces were elegant with an under the sea touch. The arrangements were created in a cake stand styled vase, wrapped with silver satin ribbon and finished with an aqua sheer with glittered "bubbles". The arrangement was placed in a clear plexiglass container filled with sand and accented with starfish and seashells.


Starfish were used as placecards...

The very original cake created by the Langham Hotel, a custom designed sea urchin. It was even more amazing in person.

Creative Fall Luncheon Decor

It's hard to believe summer has already come and gone... however fall is one of my favorite seasons! The flower market is already abundant with warm and rich autumn colors. We love adding fall accents (red apples, pinecones, berries, liquid amber leaves, brown pods, mini pumpkins and I could keep going on and on...) to our floral arrangements. For a fall luncheon we threw last year, we used whole nuts, mini pumpkins, sheet moss, gold glittered pumpkins and pinecones as table accents.

Fall is such a fun season to celebrate, enjoy!

We Love Green Apples!

I love LOVE love green apples... I love their color and scent but most of all I love green apples covered in caramel, yum! This is the sample centerpiece for an upcoming wedding... The colors together look sophisticated and fresh.

Havana Summer Night Wedding - Cicada Restaurant in Los Angeles

Here are a few photos we snapped of April and John's August wedding at Cicada Restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. We love the atmosphere of this grand restaurant, the art deco decor and the romantic ambiance... It was perfect for this New York couple!!! The color scheme for the wedding was shades of orange, peach and coral with accents of gold and hot pink. Everything pulled together beautifully and we cannot wait to see the professional pictures! Thanks to the amazing Katie Lee of Bella Destinee for everything!

Technical Difficulties

Yes, we are experiencing some technical difficulties on our website. Thank you to everyone who has emailed and called to let us know, we sincerely appreciate it... A BABY Shower for BABY C - Classic and Creative Baby Shower for a Baby Boy

It has been an insanely busy August, which we are extremely grateful for... we love weddings and events! However, I have been behind in my blogging!!! We at Heavenly Blooms, love baby showers. It's the perfect occasion to be creative and have fun for a very special "little" reason. Here are a few images from one of my personal favorite baby showers, in honor of baby Charlie and his Mama... Charlie's arrival was long awaited and I don't think this little baby boy could have possibly been wanted and loved more...even before he was born! Our theme was simply BABY. We incorporated everything baby with a boyish, preppy edge... The shower luncheon was held at a private Southern California estate on a beautiful spring day. The color palette was yellow, apple green, shades of blue with lavender accents. We love you so much Charlie!!!

The place card table was adorned with black and white baby photos of the Mama & Daddy to be...as well as Charlie's first "picture"... These custom built and hand painted wooden boxes made quite an impression, they stood over 7 feet tall !!! They were placed all over the party area and accented with stuffed animals.

Place cards were printed on baby blue, green and cream harlequin patterned paper and placed in a silver frame. The centerpieces incorporated three different styles; floral arrangements in material covered square vases, wheat grass clusters in silver mint julep cups and floral paves in silver mint julep cups.

Even our little guests coordinated with our decor! The girls wore adorable blue and white

striped Ralph Lauren dresses with a yellow belt... and the not so happy Richie wore a blue

Various material covered vases were filled with fresh floral arrangements. Other table decor included hand painted wooden blocks, small rubber ducks and hand painted wooden trucks.

An overview of the tent... The layout was created with a U shaped design and the cake table
was placed in the center. Love the tent liner and chandelier!!!

Each linen napkin was tied with a piece of chiffon ribbon,

baby blue safety pins and a single rose.


The GORGEOUS cake was also delicious!
Floral pomanders were hung inside of the white umbrellas providing shade over the
various buffet tables.

The well loved candy bar! The favors also included caramel apples and hand

decorated sugar cookies.

A yummy treat, white chocolate cups filled with cream cheese and whipped cream...
finished with a slice of kiwi and blueberries... delicious!

The beautiful cake topper.

The bottom tier was filled with various filled cupcakes topped with edible baby blocks, rubber ducks and trucks. The second tier was a marble swirl cake filled with caramel mousse and the top tier was a chocolate cake with Oreo cookie filling.
