This past weekend, we hosted a Chocolate and Wine Soiree with rustic charm. It was a beautiful, crisp autumn evening under the stars spent with good friends. We indulged in decadent chocolate desserts and delicious wine as we chatted and relaxed. This theme is very versatile and can be used for many events such as a birthday or anniversary party, bridal shower, bachelorette night, rehearsal dinner and so on... This was the quintessential DIY party. We did EVERYTHING ourselves. There are so many details and pictures, this is going to be a three part blog post... I am so excited to share this event with you!!!
Love this idea - We filled wine glasses with fresh cranberries and a floating candle. It resembled a glass of red wine with a fun twist and added to the ambiance.
We used fresh eucalyptus, orange California berries and roses in mason jars.
This is a daytime shot of one of our dessert tables. Our decor was very rustic but chic. We used old wooden crates, wooden boxes, mason jars, bundled cinnamon sticks and wheat, pumpkins, an assortment of different berries, mini hay bales, chalkboards and many candles.
Our wine table was created using authentic wine barrels from a local winery. We simply used a large sheet of plywood as our table. We draped a piece of chocolate brown satin over part of the table rather than the complete table to add to the rustic charm.
My beloved birdcage... I used privet blackberries, black magic, leonida, and circus roses as well as California grown orange berries as my foliage.Pin It
