Organic Glam with an Earthy Twist Wedding - Purple Green and Mocha Brown

The Picarelli Family is such a fun and loving family. The preparations for Cristina and Eddie Green's wedding was truly a labor of love that involved the whole family.
Cristina's vision for her wedding was an organic, soft, earthy style with a purple twist.
Her wedding colors were chocolate brown, celadon green and accents of purple.

Cristina's bridal bouquet was created with chocolate cosmos, green cymbidium orchids, and white dendrobium orchids, with an antique green hydrangea base. The bouquet was accented with green hanging amaranths, seeded eucalyptus, and a curly willow collar.

The very proud Mother of the Bride, Mrs. Marie Picarelli and the beautiful Bride,

The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Refuge Church in Long Beach.

I love this shot...

Eddie's Boutonniere was created with a cluster of green dendrobium orchids accented with seeded eucalyptus.
The stem was wrapped in purple satin ribbon.

The decadent cake was covered in chocolate ganache, adorned with green cymbidium and dendrobium orchids and surrounded by lavender hydrangea.

The bridal party's head table.

When guests arrived at the Picarelli Resdience, they stepped into
the backyard and discovered a hidden oasis...

The box centerpiece was created in a wooden box wrapped in purple satin ribbon. The arrangement featured artichokes, pods, purple stock, dendrobium orchids, lisianthis, bells of Ireland, green kermit button mums and purple stock. The center of the arrangement was filled with curly willow accented with purple dendrobium orchids.

There were two centerpiece styles for the reception. A trio of vases filled with purple dendrobium orchids, purple hydrangea and purple stock. The exquisite chocolate brown dupioni silk linens contrasted beautifully with the centerpieces and loose purple orchids.

Each guest was gifted a bottle of olive oil and an organza bag filled with
Jordan almonds in honor of the Picarelli's Italian heritage.

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Picarelli for always being so warm and for welcoming me into your home.
