Classic Athenaeum Wedding in Pasadena

This classic beauty of a wedding at the Athenaeum was one of my favorites of 2015... Timeless white florals with greenery and black vessels, along with the chicest couple, and the most beautiful venue in Pasadena made for a stunning wedding day. At the helm of this classic perfection was my friend Nancy Park of So Happi Together. And Mr. Brandon Kidd really took the most gorgeous images... Wishing you all the love and happiness Vivian and Michael, you were a pleasure to design for xoxo

Clean and classic all white floral arrangements offset by dark greenery foliage and placed in matte black vessels. With the slightest hint of gold dotted throughout the tables.

Vivian wore one of the most show stopping gowns I have ever seen. And she dressed her girls in fun metallic floral embroidered dresses. We kept the bouquets simple with cream, champagne and soft white flowers.

All the guys were sharply dressed in black tuxedos and it was the perfect complement to the ladies.

I personally prefer smaller floral boutonnieres for men, and the ranunculus has become one of my favorite flowers to use for these pieces.

The ceremony was held on the steps of the Athenaeum. The courtyard is truly stunning with high arches and columns, so we kept the floral decor low. We created two over sized floral arrangements that helped frame the bride and groom during the ceremony. We added garlands of foliage, flowers, and rose petals to soften the concrete steps.

My favorite thing to give flower girls is a mini bouquet with trailing ribbon tails. These sweet girls are just too cute.

Nancy and her team added pictures of loved ones to the existing wishing well to create a fitting memorial.

The reception was set with a mix of long and round tables. We had three different centerpiece styles... Half of the long tables were set with garlands and floral, and the other half were lined with a variety of centerpieces in different sizes. The round guest tables were set with one larger floral centerpiece. Although we incorporated different centerpiece styles, the look remained consistent because of the all white flowers, dark foliage and black vessels.

A truly gorgeous wedding and we were honored to play a small part in this big day.

Trump National Golf Club - Rancho Palos Verdes Wedding

This Trump National Club wedding in Rancho Palos Verdes was an elegant classic. Aleta and Gary chose a soft color palette of lavender, lilac, periwinkle, cream and plum. Thank you to Gloria and Cory of McCune Photography for bringing us on board, and for the beautiful images.

Aleta carried a bouquet created of David Austin's Patience garden roses...

Bridesmaids wore periwinkle gowns and carried bouquets created with shades of lavender, cream and purple.

We constructed a ceremony frame draped in simple white chiffon with two floral tie backs. The Pacific Ocean made for the most stunning backdrop.

The ballroom was set with all tall floral centerpieces in coordinating colors with the base surrounded by stemmed floating candles. The ballrooms at this venue are already so beautifully done that it truly does not require much to dress up the tables.

Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness Aleta and Gary xoxo

The Loft On Pine Wedding in Long Beach

Oh this wedding had the dreamiest backdrop for our New York based couple... Christine and Jeffrey were married at the Loft on Pine, in Long Beach. A truly spectacular renovated building in one of our favorite cities. We used a fresh concept for the ceremony and created hanging garlands with fresh foliage adorned with garden roses. The tables were set with a mix of garlands and floral centerpieces in shades of peach, blush and a soft coral in rose gold vessels. It is always a pleasure collaborating with my very dear friend Nancy of So Happi Together on beautiful weddings.
Thank you Chaz Cruz for sharing your beautiful work with us!!

All of the greenery was fresh and locally sourced, as well as the garden roses.
